We offer trail rides for every level of rider age 7-99, from beginner (never been on a horse) to advanced (rides all the time). We tailor each trail ride to the rider, assessing your ability in our show-size sand ring prior to hitting the trail and then giving you a 'mini-lesson' to acquaint you with your horse and give you the tools you need to enjoy your trail ride.

Our trail ride lesson guides are the best! In addition to leading you on a breathtaking trail ride through legendary Mt. Madonna County park, they will give you trail riding tips and acquaint you with the history and background of this beautiful area.

We trail ride through historic Mt. Madonna park, 3000+ acres of pristine giant redwoods, waterfalls and stunning vistas of both Monterey Bay as well as the Santa Clara Valley. Mt. Madonna Park is located on the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountain range. A beautiful forest dominates this 3,219 acre location. To the east, the park overlooks the Santa Clara Valley and to the west, Monterey Bay.

Our ranch, located just next to Mt. Madonna Park, is a beautiful starting point to take a trail riding tour of this gorgeous scenery. Beginner to advanced trail riders are welcome to come and ride the trails our safe, quality horses. Our horseback trail riding guided trail riding tours can be tailored specifically to fit your horseback riding needs.

Our ranch offers horseback trail rides for individuals, families, and larger groups. We also offer part or full time lease options for those interested in horseback trail riding on an ongoing basis.
